Scuba Rangers
What’s Next?

Once you’ve become a real Scuba Ranger by completing your Demo Ranger level, you join our Scuba Rangers Club and the fun really begins! You can attend club events, scuba dive in the pool, and try Ranger Specialties.
There are lots of awesome Ranger Specialties to choose from, like "Underwater Construction" and "Pirate's Chest." Specialty Courses help you learn new scuba skills and let you use cool stuff like underwater lights and compasses.
The ultimate achievement is to get up to the Master Ranger level by completing 15 specialties.
A FIRST OF IT'S KIND!!

On their 12th birthday, qualified 3 Fathoms Scuba Rangers can apply their FULL Scuba Rangers Certification TUITION FEE to the cost of the Junior Open Water Diver Course! The Junior Open Water Diver Course is run in conjunction with an ADULT Open Water Diver Course, with the same classroom and pool sessions.
The Junior Open Water Certification will be conducted in either the lake or the ocean, at a depth of no greater than 20 feet. The ratio of Dive Leader to Junior Diver will always be ONE on ONE. Upon completion, the Junior Open Water Diver may now scuba dive with EITHER a parent, who is Open Water Certified, or a Diving Instructor or SSI Dive Control Specialist. Arrangements for continued open water experiences with our instructional staff must be made at 3 Fathoms Scuba Ltd., one week or more ahead of time.
Upon reaching the age of sixteen (16), one additional open water certification dive will be conducted FREE OF CHARGE to a maximum depth of 40 feet. On successful demonstration of all the underwater skills, the Junior Diver will be upgraded to the FULL Open Water Certification Card.
Please Note: In the interest of safety, 3 Fathoms S.C.U.B.A. will assess each Scuba Ranger applicant’s readiness for the open water individually prior to granting this upgrade. 3 Fathoms S.C.U.B.A. reserves the right to alter the parameters of this program at any time without notice.
